Boxing
At IDF Training we believe that boxing is one of the key foundations of any fighting system that you learn for self defence.
Traditional boxing is a combat sport in which two people fight each other using their fists for competition.
There are four ways to win:
1. Knockout (KO) – the opponent is knocked out and unable to get up before the referee counts to ten seconds.
2. Technical Knockout (TKO) – the opponent is deemed too injured to continue.
3. The opponent is disqualified for breaking a rule.
4. When there is no winner before an agreed number of rounds, a winner is determined either by the referee’s decision or by judges’ scorecards.
In the open boxing classes you will learn all the strikes, blocks, footwork, breathing and about how to apply it in the ring and in a fight. As you advance you will have an option to join our fighters club which are made up of a number of our top students that are either training for amateur fights or are just taking their training to a new level!
Whether you want to train for fitness, to fight or you’re simply interested in the sport this class is for you.
